I am very excited about the latest update to my website!

After attending the 60-year b.b. Camp reunion in the summer of 2014, revelation occurred. I needed to go on a canoe trip. Seven new and old friends, all originally from Winnipeg, spent the next year 2015 planning for our trip to the Bowron Lakes in the interior of British Columbia. To my absolute delight I still felt at home in the woods. The Bowron Lakes were absolutely spectacular and are the inspiration for my recent series, With Intention. For me, going on this canoe trip was about living with courage, purpose and connection. It was about finding happiness in the moment; by showing up, paying attention and being grateful. The paintings in this series are the expression of these memories, thoughts and feelings.
